PR influence on the Oscars

After the winners were announced this past Sunday at the Oscars, one can only imagine the influence that PR had over many decisions – such as Best Picture.

Here’s an interesting post on mediabistro’s PRNewser about how public relations helped ‘The Hurtlocker’ beat out ‘Avatar’. What do you think? Did PR choose the Oscar’s winners?
