Yep. This is what I hear a lot:
“I may not be the most techno savvy journalist in town (my kids have to help me with lots of embarrassing teckie stuff), but I’m amazed at the way PR agencies continue to sic young, inexperienced, just-out-of-college “public relations professionals” at me and my colleagues with unfocused PR ptiches that assume a) I’m an idiot, b) my editors are idiots (Hmmmm…) and c) my readers are idiots. Now, the first two are debatable, but our readers make more than some small nations, so c) is off the table.”
